Kevin Carr

Whether he is working as a coach or therapist, Kevin’s goal is to help people move better and become more resilient so that they can excel at the activities that they love.

Kevin has amassed a wealth of experience in the field of sports performance and personal training since starting at Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning in 2008. Working with everyone from US Olympians looking for a competitive edge to the Average Joe or looking to shed some pounds and get healthier he has helped countless clients move better and live healthier lives.

Kevin is Co-Founder of the Certified Functional Strength Coach certification and Movement As Medicine Massage and Movement Therapy Clinic. He has traveled all over the world educating thousands of coaches and therapists about the MBSC coaching system.

In addition to receiving a Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology from The University of Massachusetts-Amherst and a License in Massage Therapy from Cortiva Institute- Watertown, he is also credited with the completion of numerous continuing education certifications including FMS, SFMA 1+2, NSCA, NKT Level 1 and 2, FRC, FRR, and PRI.

Scott Georgaklis

Certified Functional Strength Coach

Scott Georgaklis is therapist at Movement As Medicine. He previously interned with Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning during the winter of 2014 where he now works coaching athletes in strength and conditioning. With a background in kettlebell training, martial arts, and as a wilderness survival guide, Scott strives to encourage others to build a connection between the fields of nutrition, natural movement, and athletics.

Scott started taking clients in the fall of 2015 and currently trains clients all over the spectrum, some dealing with chronic pain, some looking to improve their output on the field, as well as members of the Olympic judo team. Having been influenced heavily by outdoor education Scott has climbed several of the highest peaks in the Andes, cross country skied three hundred miles up the length of Vermont, and studied in the Ecuadorian Amazon.

Damion Perry

Strength and Conditioning
Massage Therapist

Damion earned his bachelor degree in Exercise & Sports Science with a concentration in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Fitchburg State University. While at school he ran on the Cross Country team as well as competing as a mid-long distance runner on the Winter & Spring track teams.

He is a Licensed Massage Therapist, working alongside the other therapists at Movement As Medicine to help clients move well and perform through manual therapy and movement education. Before working with athletes and general population clients at MBSC, he worked in healthcare settings such as cardiac rehabilitation and physical therapy.

He is an educator for the Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC) team, educating coaches and clinicians from around the world about the MBSC system. While not educating others, he spends much of his time continuing his own education by attending seminars and certifications as well as reading as often as possible to provide the best care to any athlete or client of MBSC.

Damion is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS),  Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC), FRCms (Mobility Specialist).

Brendon Rearick

Certified Functional Strength Coach

Brendon was always involved in sports and exercise growing up, a passion that ultimately led him to pursue a career where he can help others reach their fitness and athletic goals. Brendon is a certified personal trainer through the NSCA and a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). He graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Kinesiology and later went on to pursue his massage therapy license at the Cortiva Institute.

Brendon worked four years at Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning (MBSC) as; a personal trainer, strength & conditioning coach, internship coordinator, and programming director. He recently relocated to California. Currently he is working with clients and athletes in Marin County & San Francisco areas. He still maintains his teaching responsibilities for MBSC’s Mobile MentorshipsMBSC Thrive & Certified Functional Stretch Coach.

A big advocate of continuing education, Brendon has attended multiple courses including the Functional Movement Screen, MovNat, Neurokinetic Therapy, Rocktape, Functional Anatomy Palpation, Postural Restoration Institute, Precision Nutrition, and the Selective Functional Movement Assessment.

When he’s not at work or attending an educational workshop, Brendon loves to read, write, travel and enjoy the outdoors.
