THE 2011 WINTER SEMINAR IS SOLD OUT
Mike Boyle
Strength and Conditioning is proud to announce our 5th Annual Winter
Seminar which will be held on Saturday February 5th, 2011. This has
become a hugely popular, must attend seminar, not only for personal
trainers and strength coaches in New England but across the country. As
an added bonus you can spend the morning watching and potentially
participating in our training programs.
Seminar
participants are welcome to observe MBSC workouts between 8:00 - 12:00
and, numbers permitting, participate. This was a huge success last year
with almost 40 attendees spending the day with our coaches. This is a
great chan
o see and experience our new facility.
*Participation in morning workouts will be based on space availability.

Speakers
MICHAEL BOYLE - The Case For Single Leg Training
DAN JOHN
Lecture 1: The Quadrants: Finally, Clarity in the World of Strength
What is the impact of the strength coach to sport? Shouldn't it be obvious? Then, why doesn't the team with the best gym numbers ALWAYS win?
Should a 1,000 pound deadlifter jog, swim and bicycle? Play in a local basketball league? Should a 12 year old boy rest five minutes between his sets of 92% max on his squat?
Lecture 2: The Role of Hypertrophy and Armor Building
The Incredible Hulk, Sir Galahad and Bobby Fisher get into a contest. Who wins? How does armor help an athlete and when does it hurt?
*We are excited to announce that CHRIS FRANKEL from TRX will be doing one of the hands-on stations.
MBSC Staff - The MBSC team will be taking participants through various exercises in the practical portion.
