MBSC Careers

During our hiring season, MBSC seeks qualified, enthusiastic coaches and other employees. Take a look at the job descriptions of positions we are currently looking to fill.

Strength and Conditioning Coach Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Position-specific certification (CSCS, NASM-PES etc.)
  • CPR/First Aid certification

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead Performance Enhancement Program groups comprised of athletes of diverse ages and abilities
  • Help other staff members with maintaining the weight room, warm-up area, lobby, and other common areas
  • Ability to understand and convey the MBSC training philosophies and methods to all current and potential clients
  • Develop Personal Training opportunities - depending on qualifications
  • Ability to speak confidently in the areas of training and nutrition

Internship Opportunities

We offer Group-Based Performance Enhancement Program sessions during the Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. Internship commitments will roughly follow the schedule of each session

Applicants should be recent college graduates or currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs. In addition applicants should be open minded, motivated, and enthusiastic about learning.

In our Group-Based Performance Enhancement Programs we train no more than 15 athletes at a time and focus on training the body to be more athletic

We believe that simple exercises help us achieve the goals and objectives of the Performance Enhancement Programs:

  • Teach the fundamental concepts of exercise as they apply to self-improvement
  • Decrease incidence of injury in sporting or recreational pursuit
  • Teach the value of hard, consistent work
  • Improve performance in athletic events or recreational sports
